  • All scholars must also adhere to university-wide codes of conduct; students who are accused and found guilty of conduct not in keeping with the code of conduct are subject to dismissal from the academy.

3. International Education Fund Scholarship (IEFS)

Unlike the other fully funded MBA programs for international students we have listed above, this one is actually both a merit and need-based program. This scholarship is for UT Dallas students who are participating in an Education Abroad program.  If you eventually become an awardee of an IEF scholarship, all requirements in your program application will need to be completed before funds can be disbursed

It is also important to note that the International Education Fund (IEF) Scholarship is offered to students interested in studying abroad and is based on the availability of funds, the number of students applying, and the quality of the application.

 

Scholarship Amount

The scholarship amount granted to students is based on their program duration and financial circumstances. To be eligible for consideration of financial need, a FAFSA must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office.

 

Eligibility

Fully funded MBA programs for international students like the International Education Fund Scholarship (IEFS) require that:

  • Students must be enrolled according to the requirements of their specific program.
  • Students participating in an international internship must be enrolled in at least 1 credit while abroad (0-credit courses are ineligible).
  • Enrolled full-time with UT Dallas at the time of application.
  • Students applying for the IEF Scholarship for short-term (customized) programs must have successfully completed a minimum of 12 (undergraduate) or 9 (graduate) semester credit hours at UT Dallas (residential hours) by the program start date.
  • McDermott Scholars, Students from the Executive Division of the Naveen Jindal School of Management, and international students intending to pursue international educational programs in their home countries are not eligible for the IEF Scholarship.
  • National Merit Scholars and Terry Scholars participating in an exchange or affiliate program for a semester or academic year may apply for the IEF Scholarship.
  • Students who receive funds from the International Education Fund must comply with all regulations and policies established by the Office of International Education at UT Dallas
