Serve in Mission

In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus tells us that his mission is to bring good news to the poor, release the captives, heal the blind, and free the oppressed. We at the Denton Wesley try to do the same.  Below are just some of our ongoing missions projects.

Shiloh grocery assistance Ministry

Twice a month we give out free groceries for college students. All you need is a UNT/TWU/NCTC student or staff ID card. If you want more information about our food pantry, please contact us at the Wesley, and we will be happy to assist you.

Winter & Summer

Missional Trips

When we go out in mission, we go bearing God's love to others and we go seeking God's love in others.  In addition to the ways we serve in our own communities, we are also called to go beyond what we know and learn from those of other cultures and ways of living than us.  Each winter and summer we go to places far and near to serve and connect with God's people everywhere!

Relay for Life

Each Spring, the Denton Wesley fields a team for the Denton Relay for Life - a wonderful fundraising, awareness, memorial, and survivor celebration event in the fight against cancer.  Come join us as we build our team, raise our funds, build our campsite, and prepare to take to the track together!

Monthly Local Outeach

With projects simple and elaborate, we go out into our community to share God's love with our sisters and brothers. Ever been in a free compliment and hug line for students? Served breakfast to hungry neighbors on a Sunday morning? Reverse Trick-or-Treated by giving chocolate and smiles on campus? Well, now's the time!
